Description

UVILED is a high-quality UV/UV-LED screen printing ink, specially developed for printing on glass. It is characterised by fast drying, high gloss and excellent resistance to external conditions.
It is ideal for printing on glass packaging, bottles, cosmetic containers, as well as decorative, furniture and mirror glass.

General characteristics:

High durability - resistant to 300 dishwasher wash cycles
Excellent adhesion - ideal for activated glass
High chemical resistance - resistant to detergents and cleaning products
Strong gloss and hardness of the coating - scratch resistant
Compatible with modern UV and UV-LED machines - ideal for high-speed industrial printing

Application:

Ink designed for printing on:

burner-activated glass,
bottles and glass packaging,
decorative and utility glass (mirrors, furniture glass).

Preparation:

Before use, add 4% hardener AM9192 and mix thoroughly.
If necessary, a 1-5% diluent ST178 can be used to adjust the viscosity to the printing conditions.

Printing and drying parameters:

Grid: 140-180 incl./cm
Printing: hardness 65-75° shore A
Drying: energy 150-250 mJ/cm² (UV tunnel with one or two 120 W/cm lamps, belt speed 10-20 m/min)
LED printing: wavelength 385 or 395 nm

Cleaning:

VV64ECO remover is recommended for cleaning.

Storage:

UVILED inks should be stored in the original sealed packaging, in a dry and well-ventilated place, at 15-25°C.
The shelf life is 12 months from the date of manufacture.
